It's telling that a search for "IMU bookstore" first yields an IU merchandise store. The section of the store not dedicated to selling IU merchandise, massively marked up school supplies, or textbooks is criminally tiny. To call it a bookstore would be to call the single shelf of books in the airport convenience store a “bookstore”. This is not to criticize the bestsellers they sell or to imply that popular things are bad, but when a store only bothers to stock the most popular titles there isn’t anything interesting I can say about them. Since the TIS closed, this is the only place in town to buy new textbooks. I haven't bought textbooks in a long time, but the last time I did it was very crowded in the store. If you're buying textbooks, beware of long lines.
