Other Stores
The following list of stores definitely existed in Bloomington at some point, as I can find multiple off hand references to them or have spoken to people who directly mention them, but I could find no more documentation on the internet. It's shockingly easy for something to fade from existance if nobody remembers it and nothing was ever written about it when it did exist.
- Between the Lines
- Used bookstore, latest mention 1995, closed at some point before 1997
- Bookrack
- Used bookstore, latest mention 1995
- Bookcellar
- Used bookstore, latest mention 1995. Was located inside the Kirkwood Manor, now home to a coffee shop, record store, donut shop, and rock store.
- Books, Crooks, and Spacemen
- Bookstore specialized in genre fiction. Located on 3255 W 3rd Street, closed in 2007.
- Dharma Emporium
- A 'hippie' bookstore. Closed in 2008. Noted fondly in this hippie travel blog I found.
